What's New: Caddie AI, the Newsroom, Smarter Invitations & More

Spring update — 2026-05-25

This update brings a smarter, faster Caddie AI, a new Newsroom for release notes and golf news, and scheduled contest invitations with messages drafted for you. The Leaderboard app is also live on the App Store and Google Play.

New Features

• Newsroom: a new home for release notes and golf news at /blog, with an RSS feed and a "Latest from the team" strip on the homepage.
• Scheduled invitations: contests for upcoming tournaments can invite players automatically, with friendly invitation messages drafted for you.

Improvements

• Caddie AI is faster and sharper, now running on Google's Gemini 3 with a warm-up step that trims the wait on your first question.
• Mobile: added Sign in with Apple, plus a friendly "Rain Delay" screen when the app can't reach our servers.
• The Leaderboard app is live on the App Store and Google Play, and we now surface it across the site — learn more on our mobile page.
• The newsletter has a refreshed look, including a new full-width hero banner.
• Activity feed respects privacy — private contests and groups stay out of the public feed.
• Your dashboard shows richer performance stats, including average points per player and roster spot and your average and worst finishes.
• Notifications use a lighter check-in that's easier on your battery and data.

Bug Fixes

• Polished dark mode, contest cards, and email layouts in several spots.
• Resolved mobile stability issues, including splash-screen and password-field fixes.
• Behind the scenes, we completed a broad security and reliability hardening pass across the platform.
