What's New: Scorecards, Tee Times, Player Directory & More

Summer update — 2026-08-16

This update puts a classic paper scorecard on your screen, tee times on every leaderboard, and the full PGA TOUR field in your pocket. Mobile v1.2.0 — live now on the App Store and Google Play — includes everything below. If you missed last month's big summer update, start there.

New Features

• Scorecards now use classic score-to-par notation — circles for birdies, squares for bogeys, and a gold star for an ace — with per-hole yardages on web and mobile.
• Player directory: browse and search every PGA TOUR player in the mobile app, with full profiles, season stats, and recent results. Golfer names link to their profiles from any leaderboard, roster, or scorecard.
• Newsletter archive: every past newsletter now lives at /newsletters, under the new News menu alongside the blog and PGA news.
• Tell us what you think: a feedback tab on every web page lets you send a note, attach a screenshot, or leave a quick thumbs reaction — no account required.
• Share a contest straight from its leaderboard on mobile, and email invites now open directly in the app.

Improvements

• Tee times everywhere: leaderboard round columns show each golfer's tee time as soon as it's known, and the tournament board switches to the next event before play starts.
• Team names now accept emoji on every join path.
• Shared contest links work for everyone — friends without an account can view the leaderboard and see exactly how a tiebreaker was decided.
• The Players page ranking columns are now sortable, and player results link through to their tournament leaderboards.
• Deleting your account now sends a confirmation email and confirms clearly in the app.
• Mobile polish throughout v1.2.0: cleaner contest leaderboards, alphabetized rosters, a rotating dashboard hero, and a smaller, faster app.

Bug Fixes

• Golfers who withdraw before ever teeing off now show as WD on the leaderboard.
• Scorecard to-par marks keep their under- and over-par colors in dark mode, and the web scorecard button is visible again.
• Contest leaderboard scores align cleanly, with the tiebreak icon beside the score.
• Dozens of caching, notification, and message-board fixes across the platform.
